Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili paid a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates. After an official welcoming ceremony at the Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Head of Government of Georgia met with the crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed Al-Nahyan Binzaied at the Palace of Al-Mushriph.

The heir to the throne hosted the delegation of Georgia with a formal dinner. At the end of the day, the Prime Minister visited the palace of Sheikh Nahyan, where the official dinner was held by the name of Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development and Chairman of the "Dabi Group" of the United Arab Emirates.

On September 17 the Head of Government of Georgia held a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Tanial Remeiti, Abu Dhabi royal heir of the throne, and Chairman of the Investment Group of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Hamed Binzaied Alnahian.

The Prime Minister traveled to Dubai from Abu Dhabi, where a meeting was scheduled with the Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Binrashid Almaktum.
The Prime Minister of Georgia also visited the city of Ras Al Khaim, where the delegation of Georgia was hosted by Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al-kasim.

The delegation of Georgia, headed by the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, consisted of the following members of the Government of Georgia: Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development and Vice premier George Kvirikashvili; Minister of Foreign Affairs Maia Panjikidze, and Executive Director of Co-Investment Fund Giorgi Bachiashvili.
