All Services Suspended During the Pandemic Are Resumed at Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia From February 17, 2021

The Service Agency at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has resumed delivery of all its services that were suspended for the prevention of viral spread during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Process of gradual recovery started in late-January and all the services are resumed now.

✅ Admission to exams in theory and practice of driving has resumed from February 17, 2021. Applicants may book their slots for exams in theory of driving electronically.

✅ Also, procedures for the registration of gun permits have been fully recovered. Interested individuals may sit exams for gun registration permits.

✅ It is worth noting that the Service Agency renders services to interested individuals at a refurbished building of the Central Department of Rustavi equipped with new hardware and inventory.

✅ Service delivery has resumed in Tbilisi at the Service Centre located on George Balanchine street as well as in structural units of Akhaltsikhe and Ambrolauri.

✅ As for the legal notices issued by the Service Agency, applications may be filed physically at Service Centres as well as remotely by electronic interaction via the website of the Service Agency (sa.gov.ge). Documents produced on the grounds of electronic interaction are issued at structural units indicated in the applications.

✅ Service Agency fully adheres to the recommendations issued by the Inter-Agency Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia for the safety of citizens. The Agency urges the population of the country to wear facemasks when visiting the premises of the Agency for any services.
