The village of Rukhi, Zugdidi Municipality Now has Football Academy With 3 pitches

Football Academy of the Georgian Football Federation opens in the village of Rukhi, Zugdidi Municipality.
One natural and two artificial turf stadiums, a modern lighting system, spectator seats, and a residential complex for 50 persons were built.
The Rukhi Academy is financed by the Football Federation of Georgia, so young footballers reside here, and receive football training and general education, free of charge.
The academy plans to admit almost 40 footballers this coming academic year. Alongside the academy's teams, this football infrastructure will be enjoyed by local football schools and amateur and women's teams.
The project was implemented with financial support from the Football Federation of Georgia, FIFA FORWARD Program, and EUFA HatTrick Program, with a total of almost 6,000,000 GEL spent on the academy's construction.
This territory was transferred by the local authorities to the Football Federation with an obligation to build the Football Academy.
Similar football academies already operate in Lanchkhuti Municipality, and in Lagodekhi and Rustavi. The Kutaisi Football Academy is under construction.
