Upwards of 30 enterprises engaged in hazelnut storing
Under the state strategy, large-scale activities against stink bugs, as carried out by relevant agencies and farmers, have borne fruit. 50,000 tons of quality hazelnuts are projected to be exported in 2020.
Georgia has exported 505 tons of apples, 300% up year-over-year
This year's export of apples has brought in 218,000 USD, 2.5 times the amount last year
With state support, apple orchards have been built on 1,128 hectares of land throughout Georgia
State financing under the program Plant the Future has amounted to over 9,000,000 GEL
Georgia has exported 24,788 tons of peaches and nectarines, 87% up year-over-year
This year's export of peaches has brought in 20,8 million USD, 68% up year-over-year
To support peach export, necessary documentation is prepared and issued under one roof, in line with the one window principle. The process involves representatives of phytosanitary and customs services.
