On December 5, 2013 the Government Cabinet meeting was held. During the meeting 25 items placed on the agenda were discussed, 22 issues were approved, 3 items were postponed due to additional analyzing (the 12th , the 16th and the 19th items).
In accordance with the Government decision, education of the students living in the villages located along the dividing line will be financed by the state. The appropriate amendments in the "Law on Higher Education" will be inserted in accelerating manner by the end of the current year.
Funding will be provided for persons having status of active students who study at the accredited institutions of higher education.
According to the preliminary information, there are 320 such. The amount of funding will be announced after specification of the lists.
Also, the government discussed the amendments to be inserted in the Code of Administrative Offences in accelerated manner that envisages reduction of traffic tickets and fines.
