By initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Bidzina Ivanishvili phone conversation was held with the President of Israel, Shimon Peres. Conversation was very warm and referred to 26-century-old friendship history between Jewish and Georgian people and their special friendly relations. Both parties have expressed wish to deepen and develop relations between Israel and Georgia.
