On December 11, 2012, a government meeting was held at the Government Chancellery of Georgia. There were 27 issues on the agenda,including drafts of Georgian Law: On Amendments
to the Tax Code of Georgia, and On Amendments to the Law of Georgia on Enforcement Proceedings.
On the basis of the abovementioned amendments, GEL 500 penalties will be reduced. At today's government meeting, a draft of decree has been discussed, in context of which, according to decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, additional sums will be allocated for the below-mentioned self-governments, from reserve funds of the government. The draft was presented by the Minister of Finance according to whom, self-governments of Telavi, Tsalenjikha, Aspindza and Poti had overspent the sums, due to which they could not manage to fulfill certain obligatory works.
