Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, paid a two-day working visit to Lebanon. Within the framework of the visit, Nika Gilauri met with the President of Lebanon, Mishel Sleiman and the Parliament Speaker, Nabih Berri. The meeting of Nika Gilauri and the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati was held as well.
After the meeting with Lebanese counterpart, the Prime Minister of Georgia pointed out: "a Double Taxation Agreement will be signed in the nearest future. Apart from this, we have agreed that we will establish a government commission between Lebanon and Georgia, which will meet once in every six months. Lebanese companies expressed a great interest to make investments in Georgia."
During his meeting with businessmen in Beirut, Nika Gilauri talked about economic situation and potential of Georgia.
