Prime Minister of Georgia paid a working visit to Czech Republic. 
In Prague, the Prime Minister of Georgia met with the Prime Minister of Czech Republic, Petr Nečas.
"The Prime Minister of Czech Republic emphasized that Czech Republic will support integration of Georgia in NATO at the next year NATO summit. Czech Republic supports relations of Georgia with the European Union; this implies free trade agreement, liberalization, and further steps to be taken. We have support of Czech Republic in all these directions.
This is to be mentioned that economic relations between Georgia and Czech Republic are very important. Today, Czech Republic is one of the greatest investors of Georgia; Czech Export Bank is one of the most
important investors in Georgia," pointed out the Prime Minister of Georgia after the meeting.
Nika Gilauri held a meeting with the First Vice Premier of Czech Republic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karel Schwarzenberg. At the meeting the two parties talked about relations between Georgia and Czech Republic as well as the issues of integration of Georgian in NATO and the European Union.
The Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri participated in business forum of Georgia-Czech Republic and met with representatives of Energo-pro.
At the meeting, it has been decided that Energo-pro will start construction of a new hydro power plant in Georgia.
By means of Export Bank, quite big investments will be made in energy field. We are talking about new projects in transport field. Private sector 
of Czech Republic is interested in agriculture of Georgia. We have political support from the government of Czech Republic, in order that Czech Export Bank to continue issuing cheap credits for Czech companies so that they will continue making investments in Georgia.
Apart from this, we will meet with representatives of one of the biggest plants producing tractors. This plant is interested in making an important center in Georgia. It is going to construct a new plant producing tractors that will create hundreds of new jobs.
