"I would like to welcome the Prime Minister and the delegation of Azerbaijan.
Georgia and Azerbaijan are having exclusive and particularly good relations. We are strategic partners for each other. Trade, investments and tourism are growing at particularly significant rate between us. We are jointly creating a regional center, a regional corridor, which connect Europe to Asia.
Document, which has been signed today, covers very many moments which will strengthen relations between our people even more.
We have implemented historic and regional projects together: Baku-Tbilisi-Jeihan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzrum; we are implementing a very important project in railway - Kars-Akhalkalaki. Apart from this, we can think about a new project - gas transportation on the Black Sea, through Azerbaijan and Georgia - the so called Agri. All these projects are of regional and historic importance.
I would like to thank my colleague for visiting Georgia once more and wish him success," declared Nika Gilauri at a press conference held after the intergovernmental economic commission meeting.
