First Working Meeting of an Inter-Agency Commission for the Definition of Terms and conditions of Bank Service Delivery Held at the Government Administration under the Instructions of the Prime Minister of Georgia Print Version

Under the instructions of Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, the first working meeting of an Inter-Agency Commission was held for the definition of terms and conditions of bank service delivery at the Government Administration today.

Meeting was led by Levan Davitashvili, Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia. It was focused on the definition of terms and conditions for bank service-delivery for the payment of state pensions, compensations, social allowances, subsistence and other types of benefits. It was noted that pensions, state compensations and social allowances need to be paid with most beneficial terms and conditions for the eligible individuals.

Meeting of the Inter-Agency Commission engaged officials of the executive and legislative authorities, including the parliamentary opposition parties. National Bank of Georgia (NBG) is also engaged in the work of the Commission.

In line with the instructions issued by the Head of Government of Georgia, Inter-Agency Commission established under the Government Decree of July 28, continues to work intensively and will regularly meet. The Commission aims to study the current system of state compensation or benefit payments, identification and analysis of faults existing in the process. The Commission will also define tender conditions for the identification of banking institutions for the payment of state payables to citizens of Georgia.
