Measures taken by the government for the protection of human rights during the pandemic were discussed at large. Young residents of the municipality expressed ideas on what else could be done towards this end in future.

"You may well be aware that a facemask directly correlates with a declining trend of COVID-19 in the country. That is why, it is very important that all of us understand our own responsibility and safeguard each other by wearing a facemask properly both in closed and open spaces, especially in places of public gathering. It is a simple and crucial step, which will make us contribute to the curbed spread of the virus" noted Lela Akiashvili.

The Government of Georgia, joined by its partners, continues to care for the affordability and accessibility of facemasks to vulnerable groups of population. Information on essential preventive measures of COVID-19 is provided within this initiative.
