Presently, we have 2,859 new confirmed cases in the past 24 hours, Alexandre Khojevanishvili, Head of the Operations Command at the Interagency Coordination Council, stated during today's briefing at the Administration of the Government, while discussing the latest coronavirus-related statistics and the Government's measures in the course of the past 24 hours.

"Presently, we have 2,859 new confirmed cases in the past 24 hours. Since the first reported case in the country, we have had a total of 54,852 confirmed COVID-19 cases. We maintain a positive recovery dynamic, with 2,754 people recovering in the past 24 hours, making the total number of recoveries to amount to 39,773.

Unfortunately, we had 18 fatalities in the past 24 hours, including 7 in Tbilisi, 4 in Adjara, 4 in Imereti, 2 in Kvemo Kartli, and 1 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti. Since February 26, 2020, we have had 441 fatalities.

Of the 2,859 cases reported today, we have 1,197 cases confirmed in Tbilisi, 620 in Adjara, 438 in Imereti, 109 in Kvemo Kartli, 62 in Shida Kartli, 63 in Guria, 138 in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, 94 in Kakheti, 38 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 72 in Samtskhe-Javakheti, and 29 in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti.

At this point, we have 14,612 active cases, with 4,670 hospitalizations, including 2,282 in Tbilisi's hospitals and 740 in Adjara. We have 585 severe cases, including 278 in Tbilisi and 102 in Adjara, of which 345 are on a ventilator: 201 in Tbilisi and 98 in Adjara. There are 2,599 persons presently staying at COVID hotels: 1,299 in Adjara and 849 in Tbilisi, and 7,343 are treating at home.

We have 3,015 people in quarantine zones, including 651 in Tbilisi and 1,346 in Adjara, with 12,731 persons having crossed the border from October 6 to November 6. Presently, 34,439 persons are self-isolating, including 3,502 in Tbilisi, 15,693 in Adjara, and 4,301 in Imereti," Alexandre Khojevanishvili said.
