After closing restaurants at 22:00 in the capital city, people have apparently moved to dine in Mtskheta. That is why a decision was made to close restaurants at 22:00 in the Municipality of Mtskheta. It was announced by Natia Mezvrishvili, Head of Government Administration today.

The Head of Government Administration urged the citizens to comply with the recommendations of the Government and adhere to the safety rules.

"When we restrict restaurants to work until 22:00, we base our decision on a specific logic and we urge you to adhere to the decisions and recommendations of the Government of Georgia by not only staying away from events that are banned, but to keep away from unnecessary events at large. It is predominantly done to safeguard the health of our citizens, especially in the conditions when we do not intend to introduce strict restrictions nation-wide. It is because the national economy will not sustain it. That is why, I wish to once again urge and call upon you to comply with the rules in the maximum manner, as we are driven by the goal of economic recovery at the stage of adaptation and management. This goal is achieved by two means - either we lock-down the country entirely or we all comply with the rules. We are talking about adherence to basic rules" stated Natia Mezvrishvili.

According to the Head of Government Administration, the situation is fully under control irrespective of the rising indicators.

"Thus, all we have to do is primarily to adhere to rules, wear facemasks and practice social distancing. It is critically important to make sure that process is managed and continue in the same manner. It was announced by Natia Mezvrishvili, Head of Government Administration at a press briefing today.

According to her, we are in the process of pandemic management and adaptation with the virus, which means adherence to specific rules. State, organizations and citizens have their role to play in this process.

"We are in the process of pandemic management and adaptation with the virus, which means adherence to specific rules. State, organizations and citizens have their role to play in the process.

I wish to focus attention on the resources, as questions are frequently asked on this matter. Today, the State has all the resources. We mean doctors and hospital beds, which are frequently questioned. Though, naturally resources are not unlimited and we urge our citizens to adhere to rules. Today we can say baldly that the State has sufficient resources for people who require hospitalization, who have acute health condition and belong to a risk group. Nevertheless, when we say this, we should not forget to be vigilant and keep the current situation in the most long-term perspective" noted Natia Mezvrishvili.

The Head of Government Administration also spoke about a new model of clinical management, which enables for the required number of hospital beds to be made available according to their needs.

"Under the new model family doctors will deliver consultations to light and asymptomatic patients, who will be treated at home. Some will be treated at so called COVID Hotels, while patients with acute health conditions will continue being treated at hospitals. When we talk about home treatment or placement at COVID Hotels, all of that will occur under a medical supervision of doctors. There were some dissatisfactions expressed recently towards some cases. Of course, faults exist, but it is essential to note that they are not systemic and we do our best to address all of them on time. To a certain extent, this is caused by the rise in the community transmission rate, which will increase further. Certain effects of panic are obvious. We all remember that when our hotline 144 got initially over-burdened with inbound calls and certain faults were witnessed, we followed-up on the matter and addressed it. Certain faults are witnessed in primary healthcare, though we are trying to address them most efficiently" stated Natia Mezvrishvili.
