In order to honor the memory of those killed during the large-scale military intervention carried out by the Russian Federation in Georgia with the aim of occupying the Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions, the state flag has been lowered at the building of the Administration of the Government.
The state flag has been lowered at every administrative building throughout Georgia, as well as at Georgian diplomatic missions abroad.
