"Today we reviewed the Execution Report in view of recommendations issued by the Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia for the reporting period of 2018. Majority of recommendations are fully or partially complied with. Active work is in progress for the remaining ones through cooperation with our stakeholders". It was announced by Beka Dochviri, Parliamentary Secretary of the Government and Deputy Head of Government Administration of Georgia at a legislative body of the country when participating in the discussion of the Execution Report in view of the recommendations issued by the Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia for the reporting period of 2018.

Parliamentary Secretary of the Government of Georgia noted that active communication has been maintained by and between the Government Administration and Office of the Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia on all topics.

"We are routinely communicating in an active manner with the Office of the Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia and we try to execute all the recommendations to the maximum extent" noted Beka Dochviri.

Discussion of the Execution Report in view of recommendations issued by the Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia for the reporting period of 2018, held at the legislative authority of the country and namely at the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia today, was attended by Lela Akiashvili, Adviser to the Prime Minister of Georgia on Human Rights and Gender Equality; Ana Buchukuri, Head of Human Rights Secretariat, along with representatives of various institutions.
