Adviser to Prime Minister of Georgia on Human Rights and Gender Equality Meets Hard-of-Hearing Pupils of Public School N203 Print Version

Lela Akiashvili, Adviser to the Prime Minister of Georgia on Human Rights and Gender Equality met with hard-of-hearing pupils of Public School N203 within the scope of an Equality Week today.

Government Administration of Georgia is participating in the Equality Week organized by the Council of Europe along with other government agencies. Event is held within the campaign branded as I Choose Equality.

"Equality is not only idealistic, but a practical value. It applies to each of us every day and in every setting. Hence, protection and guarantee of equality is one of the main goals and priorities for every individual living in Georgia" noted the Adviser to the Prime Minister of Georgia on Human Rights and Gender Equality.

Information sharing events are planned throughout the country within the scope of the Equality Week, which will enable the youth, representatives of various professions and groups to obtain and deepen their knowledge on the significance of equality and prohibition of discrimination, thereby getting exposed to legal mechanisms of fight against all forms of discrimination.
