Head of the Government's Administration Natia Mezvrishvili and the Prime Minister's Human Rights and Gender Equality Advisor Lela Akiashvili met with NGO representatives today.
The meeting sought to enhance the effectiveness of the Human Rights Council and Secretariat, to better coordination with the nongovernmental sector, and ensure their engagement in human rights decision-making.
The meeting's participants have agreed to transform the Human Rights Council and Secretariat into the key platform for coordinated collaboration between state institution, the nongovernmental sector, and international organizations.
