Council for Public Administration Reform Hold 6th Enhanced-Format Meeting Print Version

Today, the Council for Public Administration Reform held its 6th enhanced-format meeting chaired by Head of the Administration of the Government of Georgia Kakha Kakhishvili.
Representatives of the council's member agencies, NGOS, and international organizations participated in the meeting.

The enhanced-format meeting discussed the ongoing public administration reform's current results and challenges, also the results of the monitoring of the 2017-2018 Action Plan implementation.
During the meeting, Kakha Kakhishvili emphasized the importance of the public administration reform, and thanked international partners for exceptional engagement and cooperation.

The council discussed in detail the new 3rd draft 2019-2020 Action Plan involving more than 70 activities. The development of this document under the leadership of the Council's Secretariat involved the participation of state institutions, and local and international partners, including experts for Support for Improvement in Governance and Management/Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD/SIGMA).
The 2019-2020 Action Plan for Public Administration Reforms seeks to build on the progress in six key areas, including policymaking, public service human resource management, accountability, public service development, public finance management, and local self-government empowerment.
