INTER-AGENCY COMMISSION MEMBERS GET EXPOSED TO AUSTRIAN EXPERIENCE ON GENDER BUDGETING Print Version

Officials of the Inter-Agency Commission mandated to work on gender equality, violence against women and corporal punishment are currently visiting Austria.

Study tour is aimed at gaining exposure to the Austrian experience on gender budgeting.

Meetings were held with local authorities and Members of Parliament (MPs), who are actively engaged in gender budgeting.

Within the scope of the study tour, meetings were also held with officials from relevant units of the Ministry of Finance, Public Service and Federal Chancellery.

Study tour has been organized within the program of EU in Support of Inter-Agency Commission on Gender Equality and includes officials from applicable line ministries, Office of Public Defender (Ombudsman) and Parliament of Georgia.
