The Prime Minister introduced a new Minister of Education Dimitri Shashkin instead of Nika Gvaramia.

"Several months ago, Nika Gvaramia expressed a desire for going abroad for studies. During this period Nika used to carry out the duties of the Education Minister only at my request and, this went over big".

The Prime Minister expressed his thanks to Nika Gvaramia for his work and the reforms carried out and introduced his substitute Dimitri.

"I want to introduce a new candidate for the Minister of Education to you - Dimitri Shashkin. A man, who proved to have the best management and best dialogue skills. He has to manage and run a very complex ministry. I mean that the Ministry of Education is one of the leading and important for our future. Accordingly, I want to wish him success in the accomplishment of his highly important and complicated mission".

By the end of his speech the Prime Minister stated that he would introduce a substitute of Dimitri Shashkin in the nearest future. And, currently, the duties of the Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance will be discharged by one of the deputies of Dimitri Shashkin.
