Prime Minister of Georgia Grigol Mgaloblishvili appointed Tamar Kovziridze his Representative and Chief Advisor for Foreign Economic Affairs.

Tamar Kovziridze acquired higher education in Heidelberg University. Brussel Free University granted her PhD.

In 2004-2008, Tamar Kovziridze was the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Georgia.
